Sichuan Earthquake slideshow

We had a horseback riding. It was fun. The ranch was large. We even let the horses run a little bit. I guessed all horses had their routines. Thereby, it was not dangerous at all. However, my knees were so sour after riding. My butts hurt all the way till a week later, because the saddle was not soft at all.

In the evening, we went to the hotel beach. The water was warm. Groups of big and small sardines were swimming around. Liang attempted to catch one. He did it! Definitely, he put that fish back to the ocean afterwards.

We tried out the snorkeling in a swimming pool. The water was warm as well. However, after about 45 minutes, I felt cold. I’d like to go back to the hotel room, but Liang insisted hanging out more. After coming out the water, Liang did not pat himself dry and gave me his T-shirt, cause’ he felt it was warm enough.

Dining in a Chinese restaurant was not good. The dishes definitely were not authentic.  We were probably served Hawaiian Chinese cuisine.

人家说带了牙套会影响说话，可我自打带了以后两年都没觉得。还以为没这回事呢。现在可好，两年过去了，我到开始感受到了。这不是迟缓，是什么？！

总体而言，我应该算比较勇敢的。可最不勇敢就是“和陌生人搭讪聊天”。不知道为什么，和认识的，也不用很熟的人都可以聊，可是就总迈不出和陌生人的那一步。

昨天，勇敢的和不认识的同学尽量的聊了很久，表扬一下自己。一个同学说今天有picnic，后来我一打听，发起人说那是个小圈子的活动，说“既然你知道了，那你就来吧。不过你别和别人说。”我当时还想的美美的，很有勇气的样子，说一定去。我实在需要锻炼自己的这方面能力。

今天下了课，给自己找了很多理由不去，后来还是去了。只不过远远看见他们，隐约有一两个见过面的人，却怎么都迈不开步子走过去。

怕什么呢，不过是怕没人理睬，怕被人看低自己，怕的就是那份尴尬。 怎么样才可以脸皮更厚一点，怎样才可以学会“主动”和别人搭讪？路漫漫，鼓起勇气向前冲！！！

这次回国可真是累坏了，单单20天里跑了大大小小10个城市就很可观：香港，深圳，上海，仪化，南京，北京，扬州，无锡，苏州，杭州。最后在上海上飞机。这次算是为各地方经济发展进了自己一点微薄之力了。

马不停蹄的和朋友，亲戚见面。一般都是以1个小时，2个小时计算的。对朋友很愧疚。看到爸妈身体不是很好还和我一起东跑西颠的，那分难受更是怎么都无法消释。

在国内住了20个晚上，有3个晚上被可爱的又又踢的不行，有2个晚上在火车上被邻铺的打扰的不行，有3个晚上很晚很晚睡第二天要很早很早起，再有2天倒时差。真正保证质量的睡眠就剩下一半了。再加上前后在飞机上。再加上出发前为了答辩为了论文为了发表的文章一直苦干了2个月。现在回来马上进入超紧张学习。唉，真是有意义的一个暑假呀。

We saw a strange fruit on a beach rock on which a group of people was chatting. Liang went over acquiring what fruit it was. A guy answered “It’s a coconut. Do you want it?” “Sure, why not?” “Five bucks.” Well, at the moment, Liang was not brave enough to say no. Two Kona boys talked with us for a while, demonstrated how to open a coconut, and took pics with us. Finally, one guy gave Liang his P.O.Box number for the pics; and the other guy gave Liang a free coconut. The coconut was heavy. The poor Liang had to carry it all around at least half an hour. So hilarious!

Dining in Denny’s cost us almost half an hour more to fill up our stomach.
